Xiabi Liu is an associate professor in the School of Computer Science and Technology at Beijing Institute of Technology. He was born in 1972 and received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2005. His research interests include image retrieval, pattern recognition, machine learning and computer vision. Dr. Liu has got 3 patents and has published one text on artificial intelligence and more than 30 papers on journals and conferences. He is principal investigator on grants from National Natural Science Fundation of China, 973 Program of China, Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University of China, etc.

Dr. Liu is currently teaching three courses: ¡®artificial intelligence¡¯ and ¡®computer vision¡¯ for gradudate students and ¡®introduction to artifical intelligence¡¯ for senior undergraduate students. He led students to win a second-class prize in the ¡°challenge cup¡± national undergraduate curricular academic science and technology works by race in 2011.

 

Yugang Li is a lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Technology at Beijing Institute of Technology. He received his Master degree in Computer Science from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2001 and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Computing Technology at Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004. His research interests include parallel computing and optimization, bioinformatics and image processing.
